This website is purely informational. It has no login area and no booking process; bookings are made on a separate address belonging to our booking service provider. Personal data is processed in three cases.
Server log files: when the page is called up, our host records technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the pages retrieved and your browser type. This is technically necessary in order to deliver the site and operate it securely.
Email: if you write to us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, address and the content of your message, in order to answer your enquiry.
Contact form: if you fill in the form on the contact page, we process your name, your email address and your message, together with the optional details about property, dates and number of guests, in order to answer your enquiry. The form sends these details to us as an email; it stores them in no database and sets no cookies. The basis is the consent you give explicitly in the form and may withdraw at any time.
Operating, delivering and securing the website: legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Answering your enquiries by email or through the contact form: pre-contractual or contractual measures under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We say this explicitly because it has become rare: this website uses no analytics services, no advertising cookies, no social network components and no externally loaded fonts or scripts. Your visit is not tracked, no profile is built about you, and your data is neither sold nor used for advertising.
On the home page, on the page “Our Collection”, on the overview of all our places and on the contact page we have embedded components belonging to our booking service provider, Avantio Internet Solutions, S.L. (Valencia, Spain): a search field for availability and, on the home page, a row of our places. Your browser loads styling and script files from crs.avantio.com and fwk.avantio.com for them, as well as the photographs of the places from booking.beachandmountaincollection.com — an address that belongs to us but points to Avantio. In doing so Avantio receives your IP address and the usual details your browser sends. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working availability search and in presenting our places under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The content itself is retrieved by our server, not by your browser. Every other page of this website loads nothing from outside addresses.
When you start a booking you leave this website and arrive at a separate address belonging to our booking service provider. Their own privacy and cookie notices apply there and will be shown to you.
Your data is processed on the servers of our host, who acts for us as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR: united-domains AG, Gautinger Strasse 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. We do not pass your personal data on to any other third party, and storage takes place on servers within the European Union.
Log files are stored only briefly and are then deleted or anonymised. Email correspondence is kept for as long as is necessary to deal with your enquiry and to meet statutory retention obligations.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise them, write to info@sollerrentals.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
We update this policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The version in force is always the one on this page.
